Naomi Falcon & The Dub Collective – Dream (2024) (Single)
Naomi Falcon & The Dub Collective play a unique yet accessible style of reggae, influenced by soul, dub, afrobeat, ska and folk.
The quintet around the swedish-suisse singer/composer/ukulelist Naomi consists of international musicians from Portugal, Tanzania and Italy, and often plays with additional special guests
– a typical Algarvian culture clash line-up.
Naomi once wrote “I go, I’m gone, I’m long away”, a lyric line that drove her to live and tour all over Europe, before choosing to stay in southern Portugal for good, where the Dub Collective was born in 2016. A real love match!
Naomi’s compositions impress with poetry and her unique and powerful voice.
Her honest lyrics come with a message of importance, while her great band provides authenticity, good vibes and a multicultural world groove that will drag you to the dance floor.
To quote them again:
“I might see you there, I might see you there, I might.”
You can’t resist, promise!
