One Time Child – Russian Ship (2022) (single)
A banda portuguesa One Time Child está a lançar em colaboração com a finalista do The Voice Ucrânia, Nastia Balog (finalista do The Voice Ucrânia). O single “Russian Military Ship” é uma homenagem ao povo ucraniano.
A ideia partiu do líder da banda, Miguel Oliveira, cuja família é Ucraniana e que viveu até 2019 em Kiev. Desde o início da invasão da Ucrânia pela Rússia que o músico e a esposa têm-se dedicado a ajudar crianças e mulheres a encontrar refúgio em Portugal. Mais de 100 pessoas já foram ajudadas.
“Russian Military Ship” simboliza a luta do povo Ucraniano, em especial a dos heróis da Ilha das Serpentes, contra a tirania e a guerra.
O vídeo do tema foi filmado em Portugal e na Ucrânia e já está a ter destaque naquele país.
Nastia Balog é uma das grandes revelações da música Pop na Ucrânia: depois de ter sido finalista no programa The Voice, venceu outros concursos de talento e atualmente é uma das jovens artistas mais bem sucedidas na Ucrânia.
Os One Time Child surgiram em 1999 e em 2006 lançaram o álbum “Frambalnation” que alcançou sucesso em especial com o tema “Ganza na Areia”. Depois de uma pausa na carreira, a banda formada por Miguel Oliveira (voz e guitarra), Rui Silva (guitarra) e Hugo Pereira (bateria) está de regresso em 2022 com uma missão de passar uma mensagem ao mundo através do single “Russian Military Ship” e está já a preparar o novo álbum que deverá ser lançado em 2023.
