Palo Canto – Healing Sound (2024) (single)

“In Palo Canto we find our truth.” – the Budapest based, multicultural organic electronica formation and producer duo (Bertalan Toth and Peter Kedves) both aims to gravitate its listeners to their absolute higher self and implies to get infiltrated in their soul as an indigenous medicine like sacred smoke of burning palo santo. Their music does not only consist of different mixtures of organic and electric sounds but also hypnotic guitar riffs, warm synths, ancient chants, ecstatic pulses, smooth textures, and powerful rhythmic beats subserving the deepest living of the moment.

There is no stopping for the organic techno pilgrimage regarding Palo Canto. The producer duo formation that exploded last November and has several hundred thousand streams and counting, has come out with a new track called Healing Sound. This one returns to the atmosphere of their first single, West Wind, by building organic guitar sounds and harmonic electronica beats on top of each other, associating vocals that sound like out-of-this-world chanting by Soma Nóvé. The metaphorical image of the desert journey that is the main motif of the clip is the inner journey and thoughts related to spiritual awakening, which are the basic meaning of all the tracks. Together with the other Palo Canto songs, Healing Sound can be both a relaxing organica meditation and an elemental dance music that won’t tire the listener even if looped one after the other. The track was mastered by Zino Mikorey (Christian Löffler, Kerala Dust, Ry X, Thom Yorke).

“A month ago we had a small songwriting session around the countryside, where we also finalized this new song, maybe it’s the softest one from our four releases, but definitely a special one for us. We think that we’re close to finding our own sound and working a lot on our first album, also really excited about the first shows” – said the fusion techno formation about the new song and plans.

In February the organic indietronica duo dropped a live session video, where we can check how they will sound live around summer, when they will have their first shows around Europe. Palo Canto is currently working on its first LP, inviting all listeners for an unforgettable inner trip of healing.
